Just read in indiansinkuwait that the Ministry of Awkaf and Islamic affairs has endorsed the decision of the cabinet to lease land measuring 3000 sq mt for the construction of a catholic church in Jleeb Al Shuyoukh.

Learning to Walk again..

If there was ONE THING in my life that I have never been judgmental about.. it has been MUSIC. I have always considered myself generous enough to give an ear to any song someone has recommended. And even if I never like it, I can never get more than a "not bad" out of me. Be it pop, where ppl call it gay, or rock where like thts de ultimate music to rock fans, or whatever other genre you can think of, I will give it a shot. To me having to delete a song from my folders is on the list of my TEN COMMANDMENTS.. "Thou shall not delete ANY song" :)

Social Media Week.

There's a Social Media Week taking place locally as well as globally from Feb 13th-17th where the discussions will focus on Social Media presence in recent times. Looks interesting and definitely informative. They have Webinars which you can attend easily by registering on their site and the schedule is also available.

For Future Parents and Present Kids..

Its come to this.. A Video gone viral on how a parent reacts to a Facebook status update by his daughter. I know I've heard a lot of those cliche dialogues from my folks, where they dint have an easy childhood or where they had to struggle to make ends meet. This again just proves that the Social Media is turning out to be a bigger platform for anyone to vent their feelings as seen in the video. But I don't understand why it went viral?? I mean the Kolaveri was much better.

On the Path of fire..

After all the hype surrounding Agneepath, I thought I'd take the plunge and go watch it in the cinemas. Not because I really really wanted to watch it, but for a change my dad wanted to see why it was such a big hit; And since I wasn't the one compelling him to watch it, I wouldn't have to bear the brunt of his dislike in the end.
So here is my critic review on the movie..

It took 42 years to write and about 4 minutes to sing!

One of my favorite oldies.. Its one of those pure classic guitar melodies with simple heart rendering lyrics which you don't get to hear these days. No digital synthesizing, no modulation, just pure simple music.
